Folding@EVGA Contest Notification List
Friday, April 01, 2011 12:35 PM
( permalink)
At the start of the previous contest a number of people tried to register for the contest after it had begun because they did not notice the contest in time. Avoid that by signing up for an email or PM notification of upcoming contests! (If you check the forums religiously, its probably optional to sign up.) The purpose of this list is simply to receive an notification of upcoming contests so that you don't miss them and will not be used or distributed for any other purposes. Simply fill out the form here!

Could you make a note on mine that when you send a notification, pelt both my Email and my PM box at the same time?

Madrias Could you make a note on mine that when you send a notification, pelt both my Email and my PM box at the same time? Don't you get an email when you get a PM? Unless you have it setup that way and you're talking about the slight delay between the PM and the email...

I don't do that cause I get too many PM's normally to want my inbox full of them.

Madrias I don't do that cause I get too many PM's normally to want my inbox full of them. same here.... thats the last thing I want to do is clutter up the email inbox with PM messages, I just browse to the forum to check them. I always keep email notifications to a minimum on all the sites I sign up to.

I browse the forums from time to time when I have free time so I don't think I will miss a contest, but I signed up anyways just in case. Thanks Troy! Madrias Could you make a note on mine that when you send a notification, pelt both my Email and my PM box at the same time? I was going to say both as well, but since it didn't give that option I said I prefer email.

I actually selected either because even if I don't visit the forums for some time to be able to check the PM, I'll receive a notification for it. In few words it doesn't really matter, but the idea is good and will stop me from missing some important stuff!

Hey all Chimp Challenge participants and contest newcomers - several times throughout the year we organize our own contests within team EVGA. They are a lot of fun, a great way to get involved with the folding community here and (sometimes) have a chance to walk away with a nice prize. If you are interested, feel free to sign up for the contest notification list in the OP of this thread. You'll simply get either a PM or an email notifying you when a new contest is upcoming - nothing more, nothing less.

Great Idea! I had such a great time with the CC that I'm going to stay on and fold as much as I can without risking my hardware's health.
