Im assuming you downloaded from here http://folding.stanford.edu/English/HomePage that be V7 Passkey http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/getpasskey.py some like the tracker... it's easy to setup there are benefits to running either v7 or FAH gpu tracker I run both (I prefer FAH GPU tracker) but use V7 for linux to run Bigadv (3930k - rig2...3930k rig 3 to come online soon) little more complicated to setup however unless jedi or someone like myself take up the cause to keep tracker updated - new cores, hardware and Wu's may not work on them

Hey everyone, former OCN folding member that is looking for a new forum and place to fold. Somewhat new to folding since I only did it from nov 11'- mar 12' but managed a nice 1.8mil on my rig but stopped because of some differences with the site and how they dealt with the Yamakasi Catleap issue. So while I go there from time to time as reflex I no longer fold for them and wanted to find a new place. Looked through many sites and even made a few accounts in some of them but this place seems really homy and relaxed so I thought I'd join. Anyways, again hello everyone and thank you for having me.

Hey everyone, I've just set up a folding/gaming rig with a 670FTW. Right now it's running 16k-17k PPD at 1200mhz. Does that sound right? Or is there anything else I can do to increase my PPD?

I joined the team! I won't lie, during my search for gold ribbons I seen a post/article/something.. that said EVGA gave away $60,000 worth of EVGA bucks to folders. So I had to figure out what the heck folding was so I could get my share. :P The more I read and learned the more I realized what a great cause it is. I could care less about the EVGA bucks now. My rig sits idle a good portion of the day, so this is great use of my hardware while I'm at school/work! Couple quick questions I had if someone doesn't mind: 1. Do my folding points show up under my user name (like where your post count, location, ribbons, etc are) here on the forums automatically or is there something i need to do on my end? 2. My first WU said it was worth 500-ish points, and after completing I checked my profile online and I was awarded 90-ish points. I noticed there's a preferred deadline, and a final deadline. Should I be aiming to complete the WU in between these deadlines for max points? or am I missing something here? (Edit: After the Stanford site updated my points look more like what I expected. 8 WUs complete @ ~6000 points (7 @ ~500 + 1 @ ~2500 = ~6000). Thanks in advance!

You have to add your folding name to your profile here. Make sure you're set up with a passkey to get full points. That will make your points show up on the side. This thread shows you how to set up a custom signature badge for your folding.

Welcome to all the new members of our Team! You came to the right place and I know you will like it here. mundivalur Hi i am joining a big team any body got good info for i7 2700k@5.0 and 2x 480´s ? or just use FAHv2 I think it's basically a matter of preference on the GPU Folding (V7, FAH Tracker or even the Console Client). On the SMP WUs. my 2600K has been getting besieged by these new (smaller) 8048-8052 WUs. If you are in that situation, I've found that V7 has been better than the SMP Console client because V7 seems to hook-in better to some of the larger WUs of this new breed (7647 for example). Running the SMP Console client (which is my personal preference), I seem to get stuck on a never-ending run of the 8052s and don't receive anything larger. So, I', now running V7 on my 2600K for the CPU and still using the GPU Console client for my GTX580.
