well in the Combined Ops version of the game there is a Gustav but you need HEDP rounds to kill people with it unless you hit them dead on

ok so I got Gordonfan to see that Arma can be enjoyable , I will now be taking converts into the simulation world without judgment. Just denounce your false war game  

I've been on Arma 2 for a few weeks now, on multiplayer for just 2 days though.  I LOVE IT!
 
I already have around 3GB of mods added in, mostly additional vehicles and realism mods. Also got a massive map of Fallujah, among a few other maps. (I prefer realism and real-world locations)

One thing I felt the game was lacking was realism/detail in the ejection systems on the aircraft. I have since discovered that there in a great ejection system in the ACE2 mod. Even adds the ejection seats to the KA-52, as this helicopter has an ejection system in which the rotors are ejected, then the crew are ejected.

Was toying around with ArmA II combined operations last night dialing in a good compromise on display settings for use with 3D Vision. This game looks sexy as hell in 3D Vision. Problem is target crosshairs and labels are at wrong depth.

My goal is to first get used to the vehicles in single player before I start grouping up. I'm a sim player type, so I prefer vehicle gaming to first person on foot. Donno if that makes an issue or not. I could always CAP overhead while you guys play and rain down a bit of death on the baddies. hehe

you should play online with me , there's allot of things in the online game play you just cant learn from single player. Ask Rick , I'm a really good teacher

Thought I'd bump my old thread and see if anyone out there was interested in learning to play a game mode in Arma 2 Called Warfare. It's like a mix of an RTS and a FPS , you command your own group of AI soldiers on a map the size of a small country and press to take over towns to gain resources and money. Pretty self explanatory , yes there is a learning curve to this and it will take some time to get used to. I play this mode once or twice a week usually on the weekends with about 5 other people , though the experience gets more intense with more players , and that's why I'm posting again.
