Upgrade question

I am running a pair of 8800GT's and I have a chance to unload them for a decent price looking for some input as to what would be some options

A- Keep them and wait for the 300 series and see if I can unload them then at a lower price

B- Sell them and pony up some extra cash for a 200 series card

C- Sell them and pony up for an ATI 5800 series card assuming I can find one for sale

D- options I am missing

been reading lots of posts from the old forums and new trying to decide and it is making my head spin with what I can look at for upgrading.

I do some gaming:  MMO's and some single player RPG'ers (Dragon Age and Borderlands) I have not had a issues running at decent specs for games until I hit Dragon Age last night had some stuttering on some of the video's just enough to remind me these cards have had a good run and maybe time to think about breathing some new life into the machine.

I just moved from the old 780i analog to the 780i FTW and added G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1200 (PC2 9600) to my e8400 CPU and I am powered with a Antec TruePower Quattro TPQ-1000 1000W Continuous Power ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply

I like building my computers to play the games and other misc productivity, not building for benchmarking or breaking the bank.

Honestly, A or C - Personally I'd stick with A - wait just a little longer and you'll be immensely happy.

Well, are you the type of guy that has to have the best? Are you still in the early stage of computer enthusiasm where over clocking is a must and having the best still has value to you? No offense, I've just been there myself at one point and moved on. Times are tough and so if you need to have a new card then I'd say sell now if the price is right. But, if you really don't have the money or don't really need the upgrade and you're just feeding some strange and truthfully pointless desire to upgrade continually I'd say keep the cards you have and wait until you really need to replace then for reasons other than the pointless and unnecessary urge to spend money all though be it the American way.

As far as ATI is concerned, I have allot of love for AMD and what they did for the industry and so I will never talk someone out of purchasing their products, but then again, I cant really speak to their cards merit ether.
