You complain, one guy sell for 400$ PSU.

For that price in Europe you can't buy AX1200 Gold on some places. Best things is because people with 2-3 high end, not high end top graphics think PSU is overkill. And they have 2x times more overkill with graphics and CPU why not than 300W more. PSU will last few years longer if work on 65-70% not 90%.

Well, it seems to be pretty impressive, even more so that this is the first power supply really made by EVGA (the SR-2 power supply was more of a modified antec HCP 1200w instead of a fully new PSU.

From what I hear there are also a 1000w, 850w, and 750w versions in development (from articles from a good while back)

Ideally I'd also like to see a 1200w version as well, and perhaps a handle that's a bit easier to remove :)

Only to fix little software in next version and that's it.
Everything you need. And why is bad to install 1500 instead of 1200W. Other version can be without handle but you can't imagine how it's nice when you go somewhere with PSU.
You can hold PSU and two begs and cables in one hand.
1500W is many cases for that kind of people.
Handle is so strong.

hay jacob, is the tuning software your using on these built from the p tuner app from gigabyte, or is it a totally new app built by evga? the psu even kinda looks like the old odin units, imo.

Wow, the voltage regulation on minor rails especially the +5 VSB is quite surprising in the TPU review. The +3.3v and +5v are borderline ATX spec while the +5 VSB failed two tests.

The SR-2 is was a modified Antec TPQ 1200 OC, not the HCP 1200. Etasis is the OEM for the NEX1500, I would have expected more out of them.

Yup, I saw that too and was a bit worried. From:

So that means they got a faulty unit? I sure hope that is the case.
