feniks crap ... more vccio? how much more? where's the roof? I have Intel's oc warranty, will try playing around with it ... don't love my chip either, if ti dies on me, I'd be actually glad ... probably ...ha ha! You don't like your chip? No Problem. VSA and VCCIO will destroy it if you keep raising them higher both together.

We should all jump onto TS or something and discuss this lmao. Headset and mic anyone? I'd gladly do that instead of spamming the forums xD

nah, it's better to have it written somewhere so we can all google it when needed or refer to such conversations in future

Sajin @direraptor22 & feniks What are you guys going to do if it still doesn't work on the final bios? Buy the OC warranty, crank VCCIO and VSA till I blow it up. Then get free replacement xD

In all seriousness though, my Dominator GT at 1866 failed to run with 1250mV VCCIO, in my mind there's no way an Ivy CPU can have such a weak IMC. That's even worse than Sandy!

I guess Sajin is one of the few lucky ones who doesn't have issues... or he's just smarter than all of us

Sajin, is there something you want to tell us? no, seriously, I am deeply wondering myself if we are missing something or it's the bios or it's the cpu/imc ... let's wait for new bios, will have a "possibility" of one less variable here ... i'm so lost ...

Looks like my luck has finally ran out, turned on the computer today and got error code 15 on the debug LED followed by error code 23 on second post attempt. FIX YO BIOS EVGA! Looks like I may need to RMA this thing or ask for my money back if EVGA cannot get it fixed on the final bios release. BTW this was with BIOS 1.07.

Hi can you tell me all the settings used to reach 2400mhz, i have de TRIDENT X modules 2x4gb runing on EVGA Z77 FTW with Bios 1.10, CPU i7 2700k, but not recognize any XMP profile, they run at 1333 only, please any help you can give is a lot valuable!
CPU: i7 2700K. MOB: EVGA Z77 FTW - BIOS 1.10. MEM: GSKILL TRINED X - PC3 19200 F3-2400C10D-8GTX. GPU: EVGA GTX 480 OC. PSU: CORSAIR HX1000. HDD: WD CAVIAR BLUE 250GB IN RAID0 MODE. CPU COOLER: CORSAIR H80. 1) MEN ISSUES DON'T REACH 2400MHZ EVEN DON'T RECOGNIZE ANY XMP PROFILES, STAY LIKE DON'T BEEN SELECT ANY OF TWO PROFILES OPTIONS. 2) DOWNCLOCKING OF CPU, ALWAYS REMAIN IN 35X EVEN IF I CHANGE MANUALLY AND PUT ANY VALUE (36X,37X...40X) SAVE AND EXIT, THEN BOOT SYSTEM ENTER ON BIOS AND AGAING SHOWS 3500MHZ.

Hello BADINCITE; 1) I have the same issue in my Z77 FTW, i decide to upgrade at bios 1.10, since upgrade were made the cpu multiplier made a downclock even wen manually set up the CPU at 4.0ghz or more (c1e is disable), the trident x 2400mhz modules just take 2133mhz like top frequency but no in normal way, i have to set auto everything "AUTO" only the frequency a set manually. 2) The worst is no way to apply one XMP profile because wen i try to select then and press enter the section remains unchanged just like i didn't nothing, so impossible to set all variables like latency and other timings in the proper values, because for that exist the profiles to automatically set a wide of compatible instruction sets. 3) In the CPU ISSUE is just to fire a few EVGA engineers, wen choose change the multiplier to increase the frequency for example to 4.0ghz below in gray show 3.5ghz save changes boot and enter on windows use all cpu tester in the planet but all display 3.5ghz even wen i set manually with c1e disable 4.0ghz, this is unbelievable even a cheaper mobo of 50$ can change the multiplier in one 2700k without problems, but one shine new super expensive EVGA mobo CAN'T, is just like i throw my money in garbage well thinking in cold garbage is best than this mobo i lost the garbage if changed for this mobo.
CPU: i7 2700K. MOB: EVGA Z77 FTW - BIOS 1.10. MEM: GSKILL TRINED X - PC3 19200 F3-2400C10D-8GTX. GPU: EVGA GTX 480 OC. PSU: CORSAIR HX1000. HDD: WD CAVIAR BLUE 250GB IN RAID0 MODE.
