Yup, always been free to play. They just partnered with Valve to offer it on the Steam platform like many free to play games that have been showing up.

_Nite_ Then why does release date on steam say July 9th 2012? It's part of valve's Free 2 Play initiative releasing old games that are free 2 play and providing an access... To buy any of the cash shops items you can now use the Steam Wallet to buy stuff.

More games to milk people out of money. Not even worth my time to check out with 2004 DX9 graphics.

That game is so old and almost 100% hacker ridden. Every match not even joking I have played there was a hacker.

_Nite_ http://store.steampowered.com/app/212180/ just released today, looks good. Yeah it's very old. All they did was add Steam as a method of distribution :) It's a fun game, unfortunately too many hackers which is why I quit. MSim They probably rent out weapons by the day, week or month for $$. Yup. Just like most FPS games out there.
HeatWare : RushXTC You are NOT a beautiful and unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everything else.

you pay to rent the best gear and weapons. it is also so hacker ridden that unless you use a hack yourself you cant even spawn sometimes.

It's literally one of the most awful games I've ever played. Like... even the mouse response is completely retarded.

I will say that it is cool for being free years ago anyways. I loved the Zombie survival game in the cabin, that was fun! But so many hax in there and I hated using your experience/fake money to upgrade and then only having a limited time using it.

like most old F2P FPS games, it's riddled with hackers and you have to pay for all your weapons/equipment on a weekly basis. the only thing worth checking out is the zombie survival mode. not really worth the HD space. Better to recommend trying AVA.
