Why did I have to "Guest" RMA?

I submitted the truble ticket question and got my suport ticket number, but when I went to fill out the RMA request it had a small notice telling me I needed to submit as guest RMA. I'm just wondering why and if it will take any longer. I'm actually trying to sell my PC as a whole and for some reason when it was moved it died on me, and no amount of troubleshooting has brought it back which is why I need to RMA. I need a working board as soon as possible because I'm afrad this guy is going to move on and I REALLY need some cash right now. Thanks in advance for any help, options, and advice. EVGA is awesome so I know it will be done, I'm just woried about time, and losing this buyer.

Are you the original owner of the card or did you buy it second hand?

Yes sir I did. Got it from a member in the Marketplace. Guess that's why? Makes sence I guess, but it had registered for me no problem so I kinda forgot about that. It was still sealed when I got it, but I guess he had still registered it. Thanks

Unless you bought it from an authorized retailer, it's second hand. All products eligible for second hand warranty go though the Guest RMA process... Which also is only good for 3 years from the time it shipped from EVGA. You'll get same service time and process, it just goes though the Guest RMA page.
