My sister is trying to get to the paralympics in London and just finished a 5000m race, she lost by .004 sec, she is on the bottom, the other girl she was racing is our top athlete for that level.

oh wow! That could have been just one harder pedal push somewhere along the line! Something like that would drive me mad! I hope your sister isn't as crazy about stuff like that as I am haha. I'd rather lose by a reasonable bit then lose by something so little!

She would have won if her tires were as big as the girl's in the top of the picture, that's close!

I will no longer do business with EVGA.

It looks like the rims are the same size, the top one has that wind thingy... And it looks like they are allowed more than one sized tire and frame. Resulting in the wheel "Hub/mount" to be the measuring area... Allowing for measurable fairness. Lastly... It looks like the top racer is in the middle of her stroke, and the lower one just finished. Might be as simple as the loss of the minimal amount of momentum in that situation. Just like the canoe races...

That is what it looks like in the picture with the resulting lines at a slight angle to compensate for the curve in the track.

wow, thats amazingly close! I am curious why they use the front hub as the determining factor? Why not the front of the tire, or the first part of the person? Amazing though.
