I've heard so many problems with this game on PC. Resolutions, blackbars, crashes, etc. So many people are getting a refund from STEAM. I canceled my preorder when they delayed the game. So super glad I did.

This game crashes every time I enable SLI. The only way I can get SLI to work is going into the global settings and manually selecting preferred rendering 2 for the GRFS.exe file. Disabled the SLI and no more crashing. I was getting over 60 FPS with SLI enabled and about 40 on the second mission. Game is ok, but not worth 50 bucks imo.

The answer to my troubles: Downclock the GPU to 856mhz. Haven't tried to enable sli but we were able to co-op for a few hours last night. The game is an ok distraction but not worth full price by any stretch.

I WISH I read this thread prior to my purchase. I saw 4 player coop and watched a few videos and thought itd be fun to play with some friends... the problems make it impossible to have a good time.

HeavyHemi New term disaporting. Nice work HH, that is brilliant! Darnit to hell, I was really looking forward to this game. As mentioned before, we have yet another game that looks like they didn't do much testing before the release for the PC version.

Just stop buying these lacklustre ports. Stop. If we stop giving them our moeny maybe they'll stop making bad ports. I'd rather have them keep it console exclusive anyhow. The hardware gap is so large nowadays that the very fact the game needs to run on the consoles is going to hamstring it's potential on the PC at the basic and most critical design-level.

installing my new 7950 seems to have helped with framerate greatly, but i still get crashes after each level and the lack of options while in game is still a big no no IMO. even getting it for free doesn't seem like a deal to me LOL
Looking for cheap web hosting? PM me for more info.

I received a generic response from steam today. They did not even read my message about the problems with the game. :(
