Ok PSU checks out all voltage is good .Can run mem test with one stick of ram all slots tests good have done it with both sticks.If I put 2 sticks in it crashes about 2 sec. after mem test starts.Only thing I have not ruled out is new vid card but It don't crash if folding on it.And comp. runs fine with only 1 stick of ram in it.I did check timings and voltage. Any thoughts would be nice.

No its at stock or was.Well making sure ram volts and timing was OK I upped it from its 3.0 to 3.2 . CPU would have nothing to do with it crashing in mem test with 2 sticks in and not with 1 would it .I do know the CPU is a little degraded spent most of 3 years at 4.0 . EVGA tech seems to think its the chip on the motherboard.Think I will RMA it well I wait for a new vid card for it .Getting psu and cpu for second 17 2600 build this week so gtx 260 oc cards go into it.

I am going to rma it .All ready upgraded to I7 2600k X 2.But the old 750i makes a good cruncher and folder.Would of did a rma but its holding my 2 gtx260 tell my newest I72 600k gets here later this week.And is working fine on 1 stick or 2 gigs of ram its just not liking 4 gigs hehe.

sounds like the mem controller is breaking down do you have a different cpu to try and test in there
