This is what we are up against guys.  People who pay others a monthly fee for hacks.  Makes me sick.

I messed around with cheats in some COD4 private servers. So funny to hear peoples complaints. But i sympathize with them. I dont cheat. I only used a few for maybe a week to see what other people saw.

I would never pay for it though. Id pay to keep cheaters out like on XBLA.....oh wait. Nvm. lol.

Reading that, can you really be mad at DICE or Infinity Ward for not being able to do anything about it?  Like, the article says, it's an arms race like- iPhone jailbreaking.  You have these people, who at least in the case of AA are financially motivated to bang away at a game trying to figure out exploits to post up to their subscribers.  Punkbuster does nothing, DICE needs to plug the holes these people find and also patch the regular imbalances that happen to find their way into the game, and then oh also deal with with paying customers who are just trying play something they spent upwards of $60 on who just want to have a level playing field.  It's a no-win scenario especially for DICE.

I don't have a problem with cheating in singleplayer, it only affects the user playing anyway.  It adds a new dimension of challenge in terms of balancing an approach, partly because it gives power to the A.I. as well.

Cheating on multiplayer...well, I wouldn't; in fact I fail to see the point.  I'm not normally into multiplayer period, or the few times I've tried, I die too easily which leads me to conclude that there are fake novices out there that are really quite good that get their jolloes off beating new folks.  But we all have different levels of expertise how is the playing field made level, I don't know.  In that sence, maybe I understand why people cheat on multiplayer.

But it is just a game, don't take it seriously unless it affects your monthly income or something.  No need for rage, look at me, I just plain quit and never looked back as opposed to plotting to get back at another player which I don't even remember their name.

I'm probably not the best example for this.
How CPU watts relate to degrees? - How can overclocking affect CPU lifespan? - TEC/Peltier definitions, formulas and temperature estimations

For Intel processors, 0.123 x TDP = Continuous Amps at 12v [source].  This includes around 30% overhead, so it isn't minimum for operation.  TDP is not actual per CPU, it is a range for multiple processors to qualify for the same OEM cooler and power rating, and allows Intel to debut future processors in the same TDP.

This is why i pick 1 server, become friends with the admins and play there only. Iv been playing cs since 1999 and haven't once had an issue with a cheater. Why? because the second we spot him the admin perm bans. Now THAT was funny for us all.

Then if i really am annoyed, i played cs in the pro scene back then and i had connections to universal black lists and more recently steam black lists, which meant they got over arching bans on accounts and steam account bans. If i wasnt laughing before, i was then.

Interesting, I think you'll find most that hack and cheat mess around with it to see how it works. Cheating is still cheating despite the reasoning behind it. Reasoning it out as experimentation does not make it right.

I would never do it to boost my stats that much though. I like seeing an accurate KDR and such. Some people just do it match after match. It gets boring after match #2 imo.

Well ... at least EA gave a good reason for adding all these priced shortcut DLC's to the game. Which is to try and help lower the Hackers community. Not just to make extra money for the possible losses they are having annually. Which, of course, "John from Canada" wouldn't buy since he's addicted to using gamers as a scapegoat tool for his everyday frustrations.

Yes, because most developers either dont give a crap about stopping cheaters or try to force paid DLC on players as a means to stop... which it wont btw. They would rather come up with expensive DLC than fix their game that has been broken for some of us for months.

i got an aimbot for Combat Arms just to counter snipe the hackers in that game since it was sooooooo bad in there it was the only way to get ride of them. i havent looked back since, although i have been called a hacker sooooo many times in BF3 it makes me laugh. (at any point i have offered to stream my feed from a 3rd person camera to prove i dont)

Short of the story: pathetic dude tells his story of how he feels entitled to ruin everyone else's legit experience because he hates his job, blah blah blah. There's a bunch of hacks pathetic people pay monthly for and the sad kid has stopping hacking now, even though he's tempted.
The fact that an opinion has been widely held is no evidence whatever that it is not utterly absurd.

I've always wondered why people would cheat in multi-player and who they are. I thought it had to be a bunch on 12yr olds with nothing better to do. How boring to play a game that auto -aims? It only ruins the online experience for all others playing.
