Wonder if you can take that handle off.  I can't decide if I want this one or the Corsair AX1200i that will be out soon.  Guess I will have to wait for Jonny Guru to review them first.

I like the handle, very much. Great idea to incorporate that.

Sleeving is nice too, The SR2 PSU, one major downfall was the cables being just too unruly for my taste.

meh if it is 80+ gold certified it would have to be no more than 299.99 considering the lepa G 1600 watt is 329.99 on the egg (what am i saying i dont need one i already have the lepa g because evga didnt have these out fast enough )

it looks good, I like the sleeving, however I hope some clips & straps are included to bind some wires neatly together... I experience a deja vu at the moment, I think I posted something like this already ... never mind ... need to get some sleep

The NEX1500 Classified is 80PLUS Gold certified. And as for the Lepa 1600W, no hard feelings against them and Enermax but I think we have them beat. ;)

Looks nice, I like the handle. If I had a need for a 1500 watt PSU, This one would be at the top of my list.

Woah, well I'll be needing an upgrade for my graphics card/PSU so hopefully they will be out in 4 - 5 months

Possibly so, but the Lepa 1600 is actually available and has been for a couple weeks (ooh, also reviewed and given a 9.5 by JG).  I will begin singing the praises of the NEX1500 Classy when I actually see one for sale...if that ever happens. While I love EVGA, it's easy to brag about a unit that nobody has used yet;)

Oh I must have one of these. I would have preferred Platinum efficiency, but it pretty much has all the features I want. Releasing in July still?

We can hope for Mid-July now:)  3 more days till the 1/2 way point.  I still am guessing late--like the 24th or so.

Hope that baby comes with a great warranty. I would purchase it if has a lifetime warranty or similar since that puppy could power anything for years to come.

You'll never see lifetime warranty on it. Although we can wish cant we. But I would fully expect it to have a 5 year like the Corsair units. If it doesn't it will be a complete FAIL on EVGA's part. And I believe they will not fail on this endeavor.

I do apologize to EVGA, I should have stated at least 5 years. And thanks for the info. This will please many. Now hurry up and release them .

Will you guys be offering color selection with the cables? Or at the very least--additional color kits? The video I saw at CES had black for CPUs/Peripherals and red for GPU's.
 
My TPQ-1200 just bit the dust and it's about time I upgraded.

Cannot wait for the NEX 1500w Classified. Should be the last PSU I ever need to buy. :)
