I'll look into bumper sticker sizes... it'll have to be pigment ink with a coating... not permanent but at least worth two months in the sun.  Unless it's Arizona! (er, or Nevada!).  Design ideas?

Tex was kind enough to send me his files for the badge he created for the team.  I spent a bit of time last night working on making it into a file size that we can use for just about any pupose (mugs, tags, bumper stickers etc.)  Just need to find a decent sword and add some fire and I think we'll put it up for a vote.

So, if I'm understanding this correctly, the artwork would be made into a bumper sticker or some sort of DC-related advertisement?  Is that correct?  If so, then I think we need to focus on the message first and then build some artwork that supports that message.  The shield and sword thing works well if you know what that is about.  But if we are trying to reach someone that doesn't know, then we need something they can digest in just a second or two.  If I'm misunderstanding anything, just clue me in.

I think EVGA is tweaking things in the background, or they are updating, etc... The pics come and go...,. Here, I did a screen shot of two of the three he has... (Top two in order btw)
 

The art work is just one piece of many I think we'll need.  It isn't all encompassing and it will need other things.  This is sort of a badge thing... I envision other works for t-shirts and stuff or extending this and adding artwork as needed for the message.

I can see them now. Not bad, but as Punchy said DC needs to be in there. Also, I agree Viper. Not alll crunchers are part of the strike force so a variety/alternative logos are needed.

First I even here about the strike force. But guy remember this is all a work in progress which will be tweaked I think viper is doing a great job here putting alot of it together. and yes if we are advertising like a bumper sticker then we do need to make it easy to understand in the 2-3 seconds people see it. so it has to be catchy. same thing for t-shirts. mugs and dog tags can be anything

Definately a slogan is needed... a motto however you want to put it.  Death or Default is catchy but not appropriate for Crunchers... Let's bang heads and come up with some things.

Love the dog tags idea! For some reason, I have an obsession with those, and I only own 2 (and they're not even PC related... ****).
 
Another thought... What about posters? I mean, once you get a nice logo and slogan together, why not blow it up and print it out on some nice paper?
Only reason I mention that is because I work for an architecture firm and we have a 46" HP Z6100 color printer that barely gets used... I've printed myself out some NICE fancy posters on it (See inserted picture for example). As long as I'm still employed here, I wouldn't mind sneaking out a few posters.
I could even do a little Adobe work on them if needed...
I hope to get one of these one day! :)

TigerDeath... good idea.  I've got a Canon iPF6100 but need to pick up a new printhead for the one I blew out.  Hmmm... thoughts thoughts thoughts... (it hurts)!
