Max Threads Supported?

Hello everyone. I'm trying to get Left 4 Dead 2 to work on my new system, but an error message pops up with this: Out of thread ids. Decrease the number of threads or increase MAX_THREADS_SUPPORTED Where would I have to go to change this setting? System: EVGA SR-X 2x E5 2670 64GB Ram Thanks in advance.

I do not know if this will work, but you can try either of this: - Use ProcessLasso or Task manager to lock number of threads running the L4D2.exe
- You can also go into Bios and disable the number of active cores.. This eliminates the point using a SR-X motherboard..
I would try #1 at first.. if that does not work, I would try #2 or skip playing the game..

I would try #1 at first.. if that does not work, I would try #2 or skip playing the game.. I was able to launch L4D2 after I disabled CPU01 on the board by changing the connector to disable. So the game works with just one cpu, but not with both.
