I would be guessing, so I'd go with around what 680s go far but these are limited cards, which means less production, so add a little. No info on price as of yet

ok.. stupid question alert! If i buy the gtx 690 hydro cooper, will it come with fan? I plan to water cool my system in a year. So now i have a gtx 690 but should i change it when the hydro cooper comes out? Would you suggest using the hydro cooper without actually water cooling it? Will it over heat?

Hydro's don't come with a fan. You should not run it without watercooling as it is required. Get a 690, buy a block when you are ready to water cool it, or wait and buy a 690 Hydro when you move to water. The 680 HC has gotten to the point of they dont know when or if they will have stock. I'm not sure how the 690 with preinstalled blocks will fare.

If i'm not overclocking , just the original fan should suffice right? Say in a country like Thailand or Singapore where it is slightly more hot and humid

antjel Has it been a month yet?!? I'd say it's pretty much been a month... I know this isn't from jacob but it's coming! http://wccftech.com/image...nvidia-gtx-690-coming/ My comment is if the 690 waterblock by evga is powered by swiftech, and swiftech likes to put their backplates on their blocks ie. the 7970 has both a backplate and block, couldn't evga bundle the backplate with the block at little or no extra charge? 7970 example: http://www.swiftech.com/KOMODO-HD7900.aspx

Most on the forums are able to get theirs up from 915 stock to 1200. They throttle when you hit over 70 degrees back to stock. And I'm between 70-80 on any application due to bad airflow. All my fans are on my radiators except for 1 which doesn't cut it.

I'm not going to order mine till they release the backplate so i can try and save a few bucks on shipping. Unless they make the backplate standard on future cards and us early adopters get it for free provided evga goes for that idea :-)

fabbasi Did u guys see that it's available now? Idiots Hey now, be nice They JUST put it up on the website. Now if we can only get a backplate for this sucker. I'd imagine it'd be a nightmare to try to install a backplate onto this card when (edit: after) its all watered up in your system. Actually, is it even possible to install a backplate with w/o taking it or taking off the waterblock? EDIT: Where the hell is my backplate?! I can't install this without the backplate!
