evga 560 oc/superclocked Friday, May 11, 2012 10:23 AM (permalink)
I just wanted some opinion's  on something.. i got curious to what mine-craft was, and so i started a single player brower game where you just build stuff.. any way i did that for an hour or so. i did notice my fan rev up a bit on my gpu. anyway, after i built my amazing huge castle i pressed the back button on my mouse by mistake, so i gave up on mine-craft and goggled  YouTube , when i hovered over the link my screen went black and then came back again
i did this 4 times and 3 of them it went black and came back  and the 4th time i got the blue screen and my PC  restarted from a crit error so it said

i am using the new beta driver with so far no issue at all playing game's like the new batman and swtor etc

i am using a lg 32 inch 720p TV as my monitor through the mini hdmi output.

and i also did a few tests on the memory and hdd no error's etc everything working fine, not sure about the cpu which never over heats etc.

also everything is brand new less then a month old,

so does anyone think it may be the gpu or something else or the beta driver? and would this be something to worry about ?

thanks :)

OC scanner will stress the gpu. It is very good for that. And you can go inside the options. Check mark where it says it will stop the program if 1 artifact is found. Is that Ultra psu good? Who is it made by? Never heard of it but maybe others have. http://www.overclock.net/...e-limits#post_16169034

Sounds like you are getting the (video drivers have stopped working ). Have you got you card over clocked? Is your CPU over clocked? If ether it would be a unstable clock doing it. One other thing did you use Driver Sweeper then install your drivers in safe mode? http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/

Hi nope other than the Gpu being factory oc. nothing else is at all.. not a over clocker myself.

gonna try out that driver sweep though :P

I would only use driver sweeper as a last resort. You can try rolling back to 295.73 drivers. Those and the latest beta have been solid for me.

I rolled them back, hoping that was all what the prob was. i bought this video card just before i built my new computer and i know that with these drivers now that i just rolled back on..  if i was watching say cnn video and sometimes i would skip ahead and the screen would go all purple and  fuzzy and say the video adapter recovered or something..

I had the garbled pink screen issue as well. But, only with 296.10 The 295.73 drivers and betas have worked fine for me. That is why I suggested rolling back to 295.73 if the betas are not working good for you.

You sure you have the video card properly seating into the PCI-E Lane? I have had visual problems when I installed my video cards and they were at a slant or angle or not straight at all. Not sure if that would cause the problems your having but might not be a bad idea to check.
