Including EVBot, $760 for a card that only goes up to 55% fan speed? I've always gone with EVGA in the past, but it seems like they really dropped the ball on this one. It throttles too I've heard, or no? Either way I'm very glad I went with a Lightning this time.

I don't know why it is locked at 55%, but I'd expect the 130mm fan at 55% performs better than the stock fan/cooler at 100%. The Lightning will probably provide better temps, but too bad they don't have an external exhaust design. Honestly the Classified looks like it might have the ideal air cooler... wider vapor chamber cooler with a bigger fan, reduces noise and more airflow, without dumping heat back into the case.

While it may be locked at 55% fan speed (I don't know) that doesn't tell us what the fan RPM is. 100% fan on one card may be high RPM while it could be low RPM on another........we don't have the full picture here.

Nothing at all bad about them. Voltage control coming this week, 100% fan speed, ran Heaven @ 1355mhz/6800mhz and max temp was 50C, LN2 BIOS has absolutely NO throttling at any temperature. You might have to upgrade your CPU cooler like I am, since the hot air in the case raised CPU temps a bit. But trust me, totally worth it and you won't be disappointed.

That's a nice OC :) Mine will do 1350 / 3500 Stable without EVBot. The fan @ 55% is not as loud as the Lightning @ 100%. A buddy has the lightning and is happy with it but I still like my Classy better :) He can get 1320 / 3450 with his. Welcome to the GTX 680 Classified Team!!

^ I think the limit on the Classifieds is supposed to be 1.8V; I could be totally off but I remember reading that somewhere. Jacob should chime in on this. Also, where are the pics d00ds?

genkifd gx2_monster genkifd gx2_monster My DCII,s went 1300mhz stock, but the classy will own all!! You guys are so lucky to be able to get the unlocked cards. (classy n lightning) Here in Australia im stuck with all the garbage , no matter how much money i have i can't get what you guys can. :( you can import these from the US like i have done. How? EVGA and Newegg don't send to Australia.. I assume by import you mean different method. Try Performance PC - these guys are fantastic. sorry to thread jack, but I saw this post and had to chime in. As someone who has bought over 700 dollars worth of watercooling parts from them over 2 years, I have to strongly disagree on PPC's as a webstore. They've messed up 3 orders and never bothered to rectify the situation, on the 3rd occasion they accused me of stealing the shipped items after half my order goes missing. They then proceeded to ignore my emailis and send me fake photos that they claimed were taken during the packing process of my order. go with frozencpu or sidewinders, might be a few dollars extra, but a lot more professional and pleasant to deal with.

Nice Classy's Andrew_K! I live in the Netherlands and i'm wondering whenever these cards will be available via EVGA Europe. The card is on the EVGA webshop for quite a while already, it just has not been in stock jet. Does anyone here have any idea when? Or otherwise who to ask? Or should I just mail someone at EVGA Europe? First EVGA-Forum post for me so be gentle on me...

@jdookie: On page 3 of this thread Jacob said there will be a HydroCopper version of the Classified. At that time the HydroCopper version was supposed to launch at the same time as the normal version of the Classified, but sadly Jacob has announced it wont be available until at least the end of this month via his Twitter account. As far as the Dell 30".......umm, yeah, I sold all my 580's, and I am running a GT 520 that I normally have just for a backup. I sold my 580's a month before the 680's were released, but never expected it to take this long for the HC's to be released. I've waited this long though, I may just wait for the next generation to come out anyway, so no gaming for a while, lol.

I read somewhere that you need an EVGA Motherboard to upgrade an EV-Bot yourself. Your Sig states that you have an EVGA Z77 FTW, so you could use that to flash your EV-Bot. Happy flashing!
