So they announced the winners of the contest right?  I take it these will be released this week?

Edit:  I see the AX1200i was just released today.

Oh nice, I didn't even know bout the AX1200i. Reviewers are just raving about it being the best PSU out there. I will have to look into this since the NEX went from shipping in July to "whenever". The Corsair is also Platinum rated and has higher efficiency.

problem with the corsair 1200i is it only has conectors for 6 pcie, I need 11 on my sr-2. actually I dont see 11 on the evga nex either. whats up with that?

Yes but all investment in CORSAIR AX1200i to look good and you pay close to NEX Classified price and stay on 300W less.
I will install little white led cathode 4" on the floor of case to show sign NEX1500 Classified, second white cathode 8" beyond H100. That will be my all light for case.

I am in aggreement.  When Mike said it would be out in July, it would have been nice if he had actually caome back to this thread and said "sorry guys, we are a bit backed up and wont release till......."  I am almost getting used to release dates of 2012 being 2-4 months off.  Hopefully they will have their site up to date and the annivercery stuff updeted with new info on upcoming releases.  I amlmost wxpect EVGA is waiting for the GTX 650 and 660 to hit their site so they dont have to do multiple updates.  I just got my two GTX 670s 4gb superclocked in the mail with a new custom liquid cooling duel loop system to put into my rig but would like the 1500w PSU to wire in when I take the whole thing apart....

Let me double check with our engineering team. I believe that you wire the second 120 line in place of neutral; but don't take my word on it until I get this double checked.

It's simple, the engineering team built the Burmurta Triangle for men in the form of the NEX1500.  Now when anyone comes to check on them, they are forced to stare into the depths of perfection, mouths agape, for all eternity.....

ok figured it out, each of those 18guage wires in the pcie cable can handle up to 7.5 amps. means 1 - 8 pin pcie can theoretically split to 2 at the end to power both plugs on the cards. asuming the cards dont pull more than 21 amps each. just got to sleave myself some custom adaptors. 1200 is probably enough for me as well. I can always upgrade to the nex 'soon' TM, lol

I am PSU starved.  I am working with a 1000w Antec and tired of the limitations.  I will wait till the 17th latest or I will have to go with Corsair....  I really want an all EVGA system..........

If you really want all EVGA system than wait few weeks.
When I want something really like Z77 FTW, Obsidian 650D,... I try hard to find that and wait patiently until show up.
Other talk "Why you wait few months with money in pocket you need that... than buy something else good".
No when I want something than I wait as needed. Because of that I love my PC more than all my friend love their.
Because every part inside (not all but almost, soon all parts would be just as I love) ...almost for everything
I was wait some time. Some very long, some less.
Because that I look my PC on dfifferent way than others.
And I wouldn't change my PC for Cosmos II and ASUS GTX690, no chance because I look different on this hobby and that's it.

ordering one, once it shows up for sale on the euro page, the SR-X box is still not unwrapped anyway.. and with the speed I am going with this build, i seem to fit with the EVGA speed just fine, lol.

Well, I'm not waiting anymore. I'm getting a Cooler Master 1500W. Might get an NEX later but not anytime soon with the disappointment of the CONSTANT delays on all EVGA products.

Ya, they put up this section of the forum months ago. They must have run into some sort of design or manufacturing problem that had to be rectified. That could take some time. Not sure when we will see this PSU.

*sighs* Not surprising in the least they go from the constant delays of their Sandy Bridge line to now delaying the release of their psu line for whatever untold reasons they have. Is this how the new EVGA intends to operate?

People need to chill out. It's just a power supply; it's not like there aren't other quality psu options out there. Nobody should be put out by the delay.
