BIOS 038 made my UEFI install of Windows 8 on my Revodrive unbootable. I can't enable/find "Windows Boot Manager" as a boot option no matter what I do in my BIOS now, and selecting the Revodrive as my boot drive just puts me on a black screen with a blinking cursor, I reckon it only tries the older non-UEFI startup in that case. Which won't work when I have a UEFI OS installed.
The new 038 also appears as 037 in my BIOS configuration in the "BIOS Version" field which says: "E779 0.37 x64". However, the "Build Date and Time" field says: "07/04/2012 13:33:03". The USB beep option exists and other features clearly tells the tale that it is indeed the new 038 BIOS.
The loud and annoying beeps during boot of my computer is gone, I like that. I had been thinking about requesting it's removal. Thank you.
My Corsair K90 keyboard still does not work properly with this BIOS.
Back to my main issue, you really need to enable some kind of manual switch to use UEFI for any type of hard drive. USB drives always make "UEFI: USB Hard Drive" appear in my BIOS, but it never shows something like that for my SATA drives or most importantly, my Revodrive. The boot option "Windows Boot Manager" used to magically appear after I had used a UEFI enabled USB drive to boot with, now that is no longer the case.
I tried booting with my other BIOS which still had 037 on it, but I still cannot get back my UEFI boot for my Revodrive. This is very frustrating, I clearly should have waited with upgrading to 038. I have a very expensive, and practically unusable computer at the moment. At least unusable in the sense that I cannot boot my main system.
Please fix this as soon as possible. Thank you.
