Would be nice to see a Linux Steam client.

Interesting. How is it running under wine? Did you have to mess around at all with TTF fonts or modifying OpenGL parameters?

If nothing else, this should really make Linux test boot-drives much more functional. The lack of "gpu-accelerated" anything in the Ubuntu 'app store' makes it take a bit more effort than a reasonable person would expect to get a system test setup running.

It runs with a few graphical glitches under Wine, but you need to install a bunch of Windows fonts for everything to work. Additionally these fonts are also needed for TF2 to run.
