Overclocked CPU Average thread. ** Setup with Google forms/spreadsheet** enter yours now!

Everyone please add to this, it will provide a quick reference of what to expect from what CPU's. LINK TO THE FORM TO ADD YOUR DATA: CPU Submission Form LINK TO THE SPREADSHEET. ENJOY! : CPU Data I would really like to create an 'averages' thread based on CPU min/max's for OC's and possibly also work in some separation by batches/cooling. Everyone's participation will make this more and more accurate. So, daily I'll grab the results and put them into a spreadsheet I will build for us specifically, if anyone would like to help link to this thread in your signature asking people to donate their information to create the ultimate OC average data place! I please ask that everyone be absolutely honest that you can run your speed 24/7. IFF this works out I'll create a video card one as well, to add to this thread.

Is it highest stable or 24/7? Or highest 24/7 stable? My max stable for benching/5 minutes of prime that I ran was: CPU: Core i7 960 Batch: Will check later Max stable speed: 4.72GHz VCore: 1.475V Cooling: Chilled Liquid Temp Idle: -2C Temp under Prime95 max heat: 62C Highest 24/7 Stable: CPU: Core i7 960 Batch: Will check later Max stable speed: 4.4GHz VCore: 1.35V Cooling: Liquid Temp Idle: 18C Temp under Prime95 max heat: 66C

**EDIT: Updated Batch Number CPU: Core i7-2600k Batch: L037B214 Max (24/7) stable speed: 4.5GHz VCore: 1280 mV Cooling: Liquid/Corsair H70 Temp Idle: 29c Temp under Prime95 max heat: 62c I've also passed 20 rounds of LinX (problem size of 20,000) at x49 with 1410mV - but not what I'm going to run 24/7. This 4.5 setup works just fine for my tastes - at least until I get it on water. I'll update again once I have it there.

CPU: Xeon E5620 Batch: ? Max stable speed: 3.8GHz VCore: 1.325 Cooling: Full custom loop Temp Idle: 28c Temp under Prime95 max heat: 62c This is as far as I've gone. I may try for 4.0 but that will depend on ambients because it supposed to get into the 90's here. 4.0 may only be a winter OC. Also, is there a way to get the batch numbers without pulling my water blocks off? If not this will have to wait until I pull the board to install my board blocks.

Zophar - I've been trying find out the answer to the Batch # question as well. From what I've seen, the only two ways are to either get it from the box (which I don't have since I bought it from a friend) or from the chip itself.

I don't have my boxes either. Wish I would have seen this before, I didn't get them reinstalled until this last weekend. I would have writted the numbers down.

Yeah if you do not have it do not worry about it. If you would like to update later that is cool.

Too many views with not enough submissions, lets get this growing more! New entries have been made. If everyone participates this will be an awesome way to reference CPU's for OC ability averages.

Yeah, the more data we get in here the more useful this will be! Glad to see people starting to participate If we get enough data I might put together a GUI at some point as well as some ways to look at trends.

CPU: Core i7-2600k Batch: 3150B396 Max (24/7) stable speed: 4.5GHz (shooting higher soon) VCore: 1325 mV Cooling: XSPC Raystorm CPU block / RX240 rad / X2O 750 pump Temp Idle: 25c Temp under Prime95 max heat: 55c (avg of 4 cores) CPU: Core i7-2600k Batch: 3150B396 Max (24/7) stable speed: 4.8GHz VCore: 1420 mV Cooling: XSPC Raystorm CPU block / RX240 rad / X2O 750 pump Temp Idle: 27c Temp under LinX max heat: 65c (avg of 4 cores) NOTE: I don't use Prime95, I stabilize OC with LinX, much quicker and more demanding. This setup passes LinX 0.6.4 in ALL memory (16GB @ 2133MHz) mode, 10 runs. max CPU heat temperatures I provide is the average between 4 cores, since 2 of them run cooler than the other 2 for some reason on my chip. The true max heat (for 2 cores only) would be 5C higher than the avg I gave.

Thats a pretty neat little setup there. I hope to see alot more people post up on there. Does the spread sheet automatically group like CPU's together? If not that would be a cool way to have it.

If not that would be a cool way to have it. As of right now you can just sort it like a typical worksheet. If we get enough data that will be something put together later. Gotta make sure enough people are on board for me to put any time into extra's.
