First water build, need some advice Tuesday, April 24, 2012 1:38 PM (permalink)
This is my first time posting here so take it easy gents. Anyway I am slowly buying the parts for my water cooling build and my budget isn't the biggest so I am trying to save money on using my old parts from my old computer.

So far I have a Corsair 800D case, i5 2500 Sandy Bridge, ASrock z68 Extreme 3 gen 3

Parts I plan on buying:XSPC RX360 Triple 120mm Radiator Rev 2, Swifttech MCP655-B 12v Water pump 317 GHP
This is all I have for now, I will update the rest on the go.

Now I would like to WC my video card but I am having a hard time finding a compatible water block.  I found this one EK-FC560 GTX-Acetal + Nickel (from EK website) but I am not too sure it will be compatible with my GTX 560. If this doesn't I was thinking about buying a video card which is WC ready or buy another cheap one and buy the necessary parts.

How should I proceed with this?

EK blocks are definitly good. I would double check the part number of your 560 with their compatibility list to make sure it fits.  If it does, you should be happy with the results.  EK makes some really nice stuff.

I was looking on coolingconfigurator website and I found a very similar GPU to mine.

Mine: EVGA SuperClocked 01G-P3-1461-KR GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit

The one I found: EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti Superclocked (01G-P3-1563-AR)

My link to install the RX360 XSPC kit. Cooling both CPU and Dual GPU. The kit costs about $299.00 and then just add a water block of your choice and your good to go in my opinion.

make sure the numbers are identical or you might have issue's with the block fitting.
