the last ECS board I had was a K7S5A and it was nothing but junk

the last ECS board I had was a K7S5A and it was nothing but junk
agree i got an LGA 775 ECS a while back for my cousin after donating my components to him... lets just say the OC was less then 2% before it failed

I don't care for the gold scheme either. Not that it matters I wouldn't touch a ECS board unless it was free.

Actually SBB these are the best 4 boards I've ever seen:     I already have 2 of these boards, would love to pick up the other two sometime. Also add: EVGA X79 Classified. That thing is gorgeous. But to the OP: I hate the gold look. It's way too much "Ghetto-fab" for me. Absolutely horrible look.

Nah. EVGA has the best looking boards in my opinion, mainly with all of their black/red Classified/FTW boards as well as the old 790i FTW. I love the green/blue theme. I'm also fond of their neutral black/grey motherboards.

i think EVGA is getting to be one of the worst looking. they use the same color scheme for everything these days and i just don't think its cool anymore. Actually i can't think of any that look cool anymore because everybody is using red/black, i should go make a mobo thats just plain ole green pcb with whatever color components on it and i think that would be cooler.

Most EVGA boards I like but the new x79/Z77 board are "lacking" far as looks go compare some of their older board's in my opinion.
Know all a lot will disagree with me, but its just my personal opinion. I have 1155 system, plan upgrading my board to a new Z77 board be hard choice between the new Sabertooth and The EVGA board =S

for me it wasn't the OC, it wouldn't even run the CPU at stock, I had a AMD XP 1700+ downclocked from 1.4 to 1.1Ghz on it
