Non References are starting to come out... Thursday, April 12, 2012 5:07 PM (permalink)
MSI has the first non stock reference design (except for Evga's Watercooled, and Superclocked with backplate...)

To be honest that looks like it has the same PCB and also both 6 pin connectors, just with the Twin Frozr cooler.

Doesn't mention 6pin + 8pin connectors anywhere, so I guess it's the same as the reference cards but with better coolers.

After some google research, they are indeed reference cards with the original 4 phase design PCB and 6-pin connectors.

So they're just the same cards we all got, but with a better cooler.

Just FYI 680 HC has 5phase PWM and 8+6pin power :)

SC Signature too, BTW those are coming quick.... should see them real soon.

That is still a reference card, just a non stock cooler.

At least I hope they're more expensive than what I paid for my GTX680's just 2 weeks ago, else it is going to make me feel stupid for buying "capped" cards.

Will we be seeing the dual fan Signature card soon as well? I like the design of that card. :)

Do these cards vent more exhaust into the case then the single fan designs?

Yes, vents back into the chassis, but does keep the GPU temp a bit lower... its a trade off.

Will there be a similar shortage of signature cards on release like there is with the stock GTX 680? I call dibs on two .

These cards have been so hard to get, maybe I'll get lucky with the signature cards. How much longer tell the Classifieds.
