NEC has one thats 2880x900, biggest single screen surround monitor that I know of
http://www.engadget.com/p...dwx-panoramic-monitor/  Look at the profile view of the display in that link. It's a rear projection display with a really huge back panel. Next look at the Fresnel lens issues where the blend areas should be on the screen area itself. You can clearly see the border areas between the DLP projection guns where they're butting. Throw in $6500 price tag and it turns into a totally dysfunctional curiosity for those that don't look at it too closely. That display has never been the answer to anything.  2880x900 = FAIL Screen back case size = FAIL Fresnel lens issues and projector butting = FAIL $6500 = FAIL Hoping that you'd miss these things and buy it anyways = FAIL
