So i've been outa the BF3 game for the last 2 months at least. Anyone feel free to give me the major highlights of changes good and bad? I play medic and mostly just fly when I can and do tanks is pretty much all I do. I'm rank 31 I think
Somebody else can maybe give a better brief than me.
I only have a short time playing so far, and most of that has been infantry work with a bit of tank/apc in there.
The gun handling is different. The main difference is the suppression effect they added.... so now when you get shot at, you become highly suppressed, and your shots you try and take get a high deviation value added to them. So the rounds don't go where you are aiming once you are suppressed.
The tanks don't take quite as much damage as they used to. Now tank rounds completely kill air vehicles with one round instantly, instead of a disable. The MI-28 Handles better, not sure if its exactly the same as the cobra or not, but it's better? Flares are now more forgiving on jets.... before if you popped a flare late, a rocket would still hit you, now it seems as long as you pop even a mili-second prior to it hitting you the seeker gets distracted. The F35 has received a buff somehow, but I haven't personally seen it.
They added quite a few various features, like a 'quit' button at the end of a round, Map is a bit easier to read now.
Plenty I've missed, but still mainly seems like the same game. If you liked it before, you'll likely still enjoy it now.... and vice versa.
