what can a gt9600m do

I nabed up a gt9600m for my old AW lappy what can I execked out of the card ?

First off, laptop and desktop graphics names don't associate, i.e. the desktop card has 64-shaders, the laptop card has half the number of shaders, effectively half as fast. For an idea of what to expect, try Notebookcheck for their overview. But 32-shaders is as fast as a 9500GT or 8600GT or modern Sandy Bridge integrated video. Like all computers, system specs matter; afterall the graphics card doesn't run the game, i tonly draws the pictures the CPU tells it to draw.
