Hassle free  3960X X79 SLI overclock!! With Bios 034
1-      Load BIOS default
2-      Blck setting----------------------------------------------- 125
3-      Evga Eleet   through  OC  mode  set  to   ----------Disable
4-      Set Vcore-------------------------------------------------Fix  1.45
5-      Now you can Play like that:
CPU Multiplier    -------------------36                       = 4.5  GHZ
CPU Multiplier    -------------------38                       = 4.75 GHZ
CPU Multiplier    -------------------40                       = 5.0   GHZ
       If you are lucky!!
CPU Multiplier    -------------------45                       = 5.62 GHZ

    Yeahhh I highly doubt you're going to hit 5.62Ghz @1.45 vcore. You would have to have the absolutely golden of all the golden chips.

        How far have you actually gone that you can at least verify with CPU-z, and how far have you gotten it that is LinX or Prime95 stable.  The math for a high clock is easy, actually stabalizng it can be rather hard.

          I completely agree. Stability needs to be tested for several hours.

          How far have you actually gone that you can at least verify with CPU-z, and how far have you gotten it that is LinX or Prime95 stable.  The math for a high clock is easy, actually stabalizng it can be rather hard.

            Does anyone tried this ? coz bclk 125 wont work for me and gives me strange boot loop/lock

              Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't changing the BLCK affect the RAM clocks as well?
