Xavier Zepherious OK 1 more day...It looks like prophets will take it but there is no slacking off. I don't get it ... right now, the Gap is only 8.96 which is around 9,000 points. When Dip's cap was reset, we didn't immediately bolt ahead of them, but, we did pass them and now have dropped a bit behind. Why do you say they will take it? At any rate, my rigs are folding at 100% and will continue through the end of Madness. Unless I have a hardware failure, I should finish a bit above my estimate of 110 / day.

I have been out way too long.... My gpu's are acting strange, they will crunch with no issues, but folding, I guess they need a break.... the 8800 keeps giving an error, looking around it seems like its with the new drivers and the monitor sleeping thing, but I don't have those drivers loaded and it does the same when using that one for the display as opposed to the 460. The 460 will fold fine but when it finishes a wu and starts a new one, the gpu usage is sporadic. The ppd estimate in Tracker goes from 15k down to about 2k until I stop and start gpu0.... I just have them crunching right now, with my homework this weekend, I would have to stop them folding anyways for most of the weekend. Might keep the 460 going overnight, get a wu or two turned in at least....

The GPUs starting with sporadic activity is normal the best I can tell ... not a long time folder here, but, they've always done that with my 460s and 450s. Whatever you can fold over the next week or so would be welcome. When I want to use my rigs for more than simple tasks and continue folding, I use GPU heat control (75% to 90%) and fold on less than the full number of CPU cores (6 out of the 2600K's 8) ... these are under the configuration tab in FAH GPU Tracker. Edit: We're now UP 18.58

FYI ... will probably lose around 10 - 12k PPD + a dozen or so WUs / Day starting tomorrow. It will probably drop production down closer to the 110 CPPD estimate. Will try to get part of the production back during evening and early morning hours, but, it's a rig that is used for family gaming and the users are not able to restart the folding software after they've had their fun

yes, but will i make it? that is the question. --remember guys, every point we do produce sets the bar that much higher for next year as we've already beat our record, and technically we could still get 7th place... if we are hungry enough! its just 2 more days, you made it to here without quitting, lets kick some Asps (yeah, that's right: kick the deadly snake) and I hope that I have done you guys proud as co-captain/ random draftee into team CTFD. Hope its been crazy.

the contest could honestly end anytime between now and the 1st... today is the 4 week anniversary of the contests start date, tomorrow is 1 week from the start of the round, Saturday is the last day of march and--acoording to xz, Sunday is the last day that our points will count toward march's overall total. without drougnor giving us a definite end time, I guess its just M@DNESS! All war is based upon deception.

gtx260 crashed this morning right as i went to class. cpu and 9800 have still been folding but the 260 didn't fold at all today. It's back up now. I'm hoping i can hit 350k for the month and then hopefully RMA this 260.

was noticing that our gain on the F@Hnonymos team had slowed and was about to offer some more words of encouragement when I realized that my 3930k was off after i forgot to turn it on.we only gained 4 points in 3 hours. derp. now we are back on track to catch them and make this yet another close race.

also, just so everyone knows in about 18hrs I'm going to cut my CPPD by about 60 keeping it a neck and neck race. I happen to know that there is plenty of potential power hanging around this team and the other so it will literally be anybody's race at that point. Too many off rigs! we are in the final days guys! one last push! Let me know if you guys get "bored" ^_)^ Change of plans... not going to reduce after-all, actually going to increase. I've been told many times during this tournament that "close" races are boring anyway, so hopefully there will be no kerfluffle. 10th new goal, 11M
