Help with my new 560 Ti 2Win ! Wednesday, February 22, 2012 6:04 AM (permalink)
Hi,
Today I got my 560Ti 2Win, and I can't get it to work! I just can't enable SLi through the nVidia control panel. I have tried a whole host of nVidia drivers, including a clean install of the most recent 295.73. Still no SLi. GPUz and the control panel both detect the 2 GPUs, but game/benchmark usages still show 99% GPU1 and 0% GPU2.
I don't think the system should matter (its not X79), but I'm running a Phneom II X4 970, for reference sake.
Thanks for any help!

    What motherboard do you have?
Only the new AMD 990 chipset boards "officially" support SLI.
If you have an older chipset board, you will have to use the SLI patch:

Hey, I don't think this applies to the 2Win because it has a NF2000 chip on the PCB, so you don't need a SLi compatible motherboard.

Doesn't matter, SLI is driver controlled and is coded for SLI boards.

If you don't have the the 990 chipset, SLI won't happen without the SLI patch.

Yeah I hear ya, this is one of the reason why I went with the Crosshair V Formula.
I ran my 570's on the Crosshair IV Formula with the SLI patch. worked like a champ.
Basically upgrade to the CH5F to run Zambezi, but we all know Bulldozer turned out to be a dud.

Didn't hear back from you, did you get SLI to work?

well I ran 2 different 295`s on 2 different p 45 (xfire m/b) without the need for any patch. the nf200 chip is in the card itself. do not think this card would be any different.

The SLi patch enabled SLI, but there was constant screen flashing. The HyperSLi patch, however, works a treat :)
