Sweet :) hope the final chip will be worth it, so far it does not impress me.

Most reviewers and leakers thus far have left them at stock speeds; unless that it your intention?  Rest assured, historically shrinks have overclocked farther and/or with less voltage than their original counterpart.  Ivy bridge won't be any different.

For Intel processors, 0.123 x TDP = Continuous Amps at 12v [source].  This includes around 30% overhead, so it isn't minimum for operation.  TDP is not actual per CPU, it is a range for multiple processors to qualify for the same OEM cooler and power rating, and allows Intel to debut future processors in the same TDP.

Idunno, there was a thread somewhere where the bench results were not impressive with an overclock which was disappointing. Only small marginal gains over the 2600/2700. Only time will tell till the final release rather looking at these premature benches. Waiting to see the real deal benches.

It will then also support USB 3.0 I would assume correct?

A BIOS update will not enable what isn't already there, i.e. more native USB 3.0 ports only available in the newer Panther Point chipsets (Z77, Z75, H77, etc).  An Ivy Bridge CPU appled to a Cougar Point chipset board (Z68, P67, H67, etc) will only give you the 22nm CPU itself, its PCIe 3.0 controller, and its updated IMC.

Although not any Ivy Bridge will, the Core i3 and Pentium Ivy Bridge variants still have PCIe 2.0, but most EVGA customers may not get those.

                    Oh awesome I meant PCI-E 3.0 I wrote USB 3.0.
Will you need the new processor to see PCI-E 3.0 do you think? Or can it be done on Sandy Bridge? The new Kepler GPUs will be PCI-E 3.0 won't they?

You will need an Ivy Bridge CPU to get PCIe 3.0 speeds. If you have a P67/Z68 motherboard and upgrade to an Ivy Bridge CPU, PCIe slots that are connected directly to the CPU (i.e., not through a NF200) will have PCIe 3.0 speeds. Any lanes connected to a NF200 will still be limited to PCIe 2.0 speeds. It is rumored that at least some, if not all, Kepler GPUs will be PCIe 3.0.
