Anyone else like legos?
Tuesday, February 21, 2012 2:52 PM
( permalink)
I have loved legos since i was about 3 years old. Ive built billions of things over the years. I built these about 2 years ago and they have surprisingly stayed together. I had a MP5 but i destroyed it to build other things. My .270 is shown for a size comparison. Yes i know they are colorful but hey i don't have a billion dollars to spend on all black lego pieces. All guns have sights and removable magazines. I have a suppressor for the pistol somewhere. The rifle is complete with flashlight, foregrip, adjustable sights, removable magazines, adjustable stock. (I tried to get good detail with the rifle and you can tell because i even have a shell ejector)

Back in the Pirate Lego days, I had an Armada as a kid. For the pirates, red coats, and blue coats. I had like 5-6 ships for each of them, with some being double decker ships with 8 canon on each side. Then I got smart with Firecrackers, and would cut the back end off of them and have the fuse stick out, was enough force behind that little round plastic thing when you put ships side by side to blow barrels off the carriage and men across my room. Parents did not like the fact I was lighting firecrackers in my room though. Kind of want to buy some big models of something and build some stuff. Always wanted the millennium Falcon. The big one, it's an old one though, 2007, not sure if it can still be found. http://lego.wikia.com/wik...%27s_Millennium_Falcon

LOL I would always build the set with the instructions and play with it for a while. Then i would rip it apart and build my own contraptions. This was probably the very first set i got and just barely remember putting it together. I still have a few pieces from this set too. I bought a Lego Enzo Ferrari when i was about 10 using money that i had earned working on our farm. I believe it cost me 100 dollars. I received it and the immediately spent the next 3 hours putting it together.

I've been amassing them to eventually build a computer case out of them... It takes more than one would think though, so it will be some time as Lego's are dang expensive...

I still have a big Yoda lego in my room.
