Johnny_Utah philld0 Awesome setup mate :) I take it the drivers for the Crossfire are a bit poor at the moment? I found that with two 5970's I had :( Yeah, with one card everything worked fantastically. Now with two, a good number of driver issues. VERY frustrating. I know what that's like and when I sold the card I had, the drivers worked better!! Go figure.. What sort of CPU speed are you hoping to hit with that beauty of a CPU? :)

deezlit Looks awesome, I'm drooling over here... Thanks deezlit! philld0: I just got these two stable (no overclock, huge driver issues) with the latest set of drivers. I can now attempt to overclock my 3930k to where it was before (around 4.7-4.8) and then work on OCing the cards. One card was impressive....I mean no voltage increase with clocks at 1200MHz, stable as can be! With two, I am going to go ahead and guess I won't get close to that, which is sad since I can get all my 580s stable at 975MHz. I am comparing percentage of OC, not the OC itself. I blame this all on crappy, crappy Xfire drivers. If AMD ever gets their heads out of their behinds with regards to drivers, they could have the most impressive dual card solution around.

I had problems initially with TRIXX, so I uninstalled it immediately. I have learned never to have more than one program modifying my voltages/clocks etc at one time...after using Afterburner and Precision for so many years. Using AB beta 14 right now with 12.3 is giving me some better results.

Okay, I picked up one more 7970 for 459 bucks on Amazon. Great deal. I also moved this build to a DD tower case. I am using the Torture Rack now for the 680 build. Now it's trifire on the RE4: Changed a couple of parts: 655 Pump in XSPC Res (5.25 Bay) 2 x 360 XSPC Rads (Nice and Slim to give me room on the side) EK Triple Water Bridge Monsoon Compression Fittings

In a month or so, I would like to pick up another PSU. I only had one more 1200W+ on hand (TPQ) which is awesome in terms of performance but sucks esthetically. I think I may pick up that Seasonic monster OR something else then sleeve the cables.

Update: Regarding the monsoon compression fittings: Save your money and go with Bitspower, which I still think is the best. These things look like a great idea, but in the end aren't going to do you any favors. Once clamped down, they are harder to get undone than others, and the fact you need a tool to do it makes life absolute HELL in tight spots. They grip my tubing way too tight on the screw end...and yes they are the correct size;)
