thank u thank u, the time has been rare to finish this guy. been building this since dec 2011. just tryin to not rush it so I can take my time with it and just have fun. this is my first time cosmetically changing a pc. money has stopped me from doing a lot more then I am now.

I wish I could do stuff like this. I wish I could do custom sleving but i am not that skilled. Also dont have the right tools.

 
Tools is nothing more then money and it really didnt cost that much. The sleeving really isnt that hard. I did alot of video watching and alot of questions. Luckily I found a couple modders that was happy to help me with any question and suggest parts/tools. So the correct tools is the key.

To be honest I dont think it'll do much if any. I tried to keep my coats as light as possible to help. Also this is not going to be my OC pc. I may have a light OC on it but not much as I am going more for the cosmetic's then OC'n. So if I cant get a great OC on this unit I wont be displeased.

I just got in my vent covers and some new connectors to make all my GPU/CPU/MOBO connectors into solid connects instead of          20+4 pin/4+4 pin/6+2 pin

I love seeing all the time and effort you have put into this build, this is something to be extremely proud of.  Enjoy it!!

Tyvm for the kind comment. I am taking way too much time to put it together imho. I just dont have time to work on this and do everyday life things. :( But soon enough it'll be done.

another little teaster

Hola everyone! It's been quite a LONG time since I've been able to sit down and do any sleeving. I finished my cpu 8-pin the other day and just finished my first sata power cable. Had some help from Lutro0. His time was very limited but made time to try and help with what he could. So to these getting done today I commend him. Also with Quakecon right around the corner I've got to kick my rear into overdrive. So onto the pics of the sata cable.

grant it these do not look even but I plan to sew my cables together and it will be even.

Onward to tomorrow and to my HDD sata power. Then sleeve my cables coming from the front panel of the case, and to hopefully tackle my problem of the front panel PWR/RESET cables. Till tomorrow..goodnight.

Another night of sleeving down. Almost done with sleeving then can actually throw some things together. Last thing to do is rip apart my current build for the HDD's and optical.

So while waiting on MDPC to come back online I've got in a new Bitfenix 230mm fan. This fan pushes double the air compared to the original 230mm fan I was going to use. Just some more sleeving/heat shrink and a few tools being ordered then I can complete this build!





If I never have to paint a fan again, it wouldnt hurt my feelings! lol, those darn c-clips can be pretty annoying to put back on.

Hey I have the same Exact fan but the 200mm blue led fan. I tell you man these fans are awesome! They do push a lot of air. My first front fan pushed only 90cfm. The spectre pro I have now pushes 148.72cfm. Another plus with these fans is they are super quiet. Also I love the build.

Thanks for the kind words. I kept the ram going with the flow of the sleeving where it starts with green then white.

thanks! sleeving is pretty fun and once you get in the groove it goes by fairly fast. just with this being my first sleeving job I am taking a little extra time. also not afraid of taking a piece of shrink off or recut a whole new piece of sleeve. just to make sure I have the look I am going for. mdpc is a highly recommended sleeve if you want quality at an affordable price.

Yea I seen it while browsing one day and scooped it up. Way better performance then the first one. I had to redo the prep work and paint it again. But it should be well worth the extra time. Thanks for the thumbs up. Hope to get this girl up and runnin before mid week next week.

Can't beleive I haven't posted before on this build. Lookin great can't wait to see the finished product, loving the green and white.

thanks for lookin! I havent had much time since I originally started the build. lately I've been working more on it due to Quakecon right around the corner. which means I roughly have a week to get this up and goin. so that means more pics = more updates.

Also ordered me a few new goodies....backplates for the 560 classy's, lights for the case and a new keyboard & gamepad.
