Re:EVGA X79 Motherboards!

dirkrs I am somewhat unsure! I read a lot here .... and the problems with the Board! Usb 3.0 problems, RAM problems, CPU problems!= Not good! There is in me to ask if the motherboard is the ever mature? If the current Board now supports the CPU i7-3820? - X79 Series Motherboard (LGA 2011)
- Sandy Bridge E
- Core i7 3960X - 3.30 GHz
- Core i7 3930K - 3.20 GHz
- nothing about the i7 3820 ?????
What BIOS is installed? I am from Germany (Europe) and would like to know where should I order to get the latest motherboard! Use 4x4 GB Corsair Vengeance! Is this ok? Where can I find a RAM compatibility list? greeting dirk CPU problems ? What CPU problems ? Ram compatibility list http://www.evga.com/support/motherboard/

Board does not boot with the i7-3820 ! You must flash it before but without another CPU? Or should I buy first the i7 3930 or i7 3960 for 500 € and 800 € to flash it ??? In the RAM compatibility list only a hand full of RAM listed...nothing about the Corsair Vengeance Serie?!

As was told to me here Corsair Memory is used to test the MBs with I got the Dominator GT, I have read that people here have used the XMS as well as the Vengeance. I think you will not have an issue. My issue was I had BIOS 25 which gives you a D0 error which means you either get a NEW MB sent or a Bios chip depending on what is in stock at the time. For me they are suppose to send me a Bios chip I am waiting for now. At least Tech Support is REALLY nice!

They can ship you a new bios chip if you have issues. No point buying another CPU if you don't want to go that way. It doesn't say anything about crucial either but here i am using crucial ram.

I hope I'm not asking a question thats been answered. I have read through the thread.( could have missed it tho...lol) I am thinking about upgrading to the Classy board and doing 2 way sli. Which slots would be used? 1 and 4? ( for full x16). I like the idea of that much room between the vid cards for better temps.

I orfered my x79 ftw yesterday from newegg. I need to get memory next. I am going with the 3930k processor. Do I have to populate all 4 memory slots? Or can I buy one at a time as I get the money. Thanks!
