Well, here I am with my second ever thread, ready to exaplin the blood, sweat, and lack of money I am about to have becuase I am ready to build my dream machine!!
 
First, I want to thank everyone who has post pictures and descriptions of the builds they have done; it has saved me countless hours of research!
 
Second, here is what you are waiting for....
 
I started planning a week ago, spending many days and nights reading what people wrote and hav built, so I have decided on...
 
I have already purchased the following items...as of yesterday..
Intel Core i7 990X Extreme 3.46 Ghz
EVGA X58 Classified III
Cooler Master HAF X
Corsair Professional CMPSU-1200AX
Corsair Dominator GT 12 GB (3 x 4GB) 2000MHz (PC3 16000) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM
 
I already own:
3 X Asus 24' LCD with Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital Edition
Logitech Z-5000 5.1 Surround Sound
Logitech G500 Mouse and Logitech G19 keyboard
2 X EVGA GeoForce GTX 560 Ti "Superclocked" in SLI and 1 EVGA Geforce 8800 Ultra as dedicated PhYsx 
 
Still need to purchase:
All of the water cooling equipment, which I am still trying to research.
I figured if I got the case first, I could do measurements to make sure I could fit the things I am ready to purchase.
 
Hard drives/DVD Drives
 
..and aesthetics such as LEDs, wire sleeves, colored tubing, fan bezels, etc. (I have a theme worked out in my head, I want to keep it to myself until I get to that point in the build log...hopefully it will keep everyone in suspense and coming back to my thread for more!!
 
The plan:
Bulid this thing to last me a long time, while OC'ing everything, and keeping it at a cool temperature..
 
I hope the description was enough to keep you coming back...I WILL keep this thing updated as I get parts and start to build and mod the case!

Yes, that is part of the plan.  I need to purchase the blocks for everything.
 
I think I am going to wait to purchase the res and pump for now to see how and where I want to put it.

I will be getting 2 EK VGA Supreme Universal GPU Waterblocks VERY soon. Universal as in... will fit "ANY" GPU. Including Future unreleased cards. Only thing else I'll need is a few of these to fit onto the memory chips of the card, and maybe 2 90 degree fittings to connect the two cards together
 
So now, I can upgrade my cards without worrying about having to get new GPU Waterblocks.
 
I may also add one of those Black Ice 240mm Stealth Radiators, and stick it where the GPU fan duct goes up against the hard drive cage (probably just use some double sided tape to attach it lol)
The stealth model is only 1 inch thick, and a 25mm fan is about 1 inch thick, so it would only come out 2 inches from the hard drive cage. So it should fit fine.

Thanks for all the advice!  I actually wanted to thank you for having your build log too; it was one of the first logs I found that helped me a lot when I first started looking for parts and ideas! I still have the link to it saved for future reference!
 
I, too, was thinking of the the same ideas.  In fact, I was up until about 1 AM last night looking around for slim radiators, lol.  I think I found what I want, I just need to measure to make sure.

This rig is going to be sick!

I got the HDD cage out yesterday, I have pics, just got to get them off the camera.  Probably tuesday

I am looking for a 200mm radiator...any ideas how to get one, or does nayone have an old one lying around?
The only one I can find that will fit is the Phobya Xtreme and it is not available until Sept of this year, and I'm not looking to wait that long lol.
If anyone knows please let me know.
 
As soon as I find this last piece I am going to order the WC parts.

I'm trying...i just hope the theme comes out as awesome as I want it to..

Forget the 200mm radiator because 200mm fans suck, all of them. The pressure on them is extremely low and not good for cooling a radiator.
I wonder if this thing would fit lol

As for the Antec 200mm rad. Don't get it. Its made of aluminum, which is retarded. Any aluminum in your loop will increase the chances of corrosion by a lot.
