I would like to see it go into production so im creating interest. I don't see many two seater cars kicking around and if you live in a cold climate owning a motor bike riding to work in the freezing morning fog isn't all that appealing. With it being able to be fitted with a roof being made of recycled materials and being battery powered adds another dimension of interest given the cost of fuel.

So my apologies it is a concept a very good one IMO

Re:Holden Special Vehicle (HSV's) new bike/car crossbread (Brad_Hawthorne)

Context always annoys me when people don't fully disclose the background of something. It's a one off Engineering project for a MIT student entered into a contest. It's not a production car. Don't expect to buy it anytime soon or if ever.
Re:Holden Special Vehicle (HSV's) new bike/car crossbread (seth89)

Kanti
i plan to buy one , it is very cheap €460 delivery include , here in france there is no petrol but a lot of nuclear powerplants ;'[
so a good machine like that seems good choice for future .

to talk about cars with batteries , i am not fan and think it has no future , a petrol-like liquids is easier to handle and less dangerous than baterries that need times to recharge . for those always doing the same distance every day , then a solution using a second pack of batteries being charged using solar energy can be a very good use of electricity
by the way , by now the question is to catch the wastes of energies that are making the climate change and stock it [ may be in the earth using a petrol-like liquid.... then we ll say we have petrol but refuse to use it ;']
Predictably, it would run on an electric engine – nothing awe-inspiring there, but there’s a clever twist. For the first time an infinite driving range is said to be possible with the use of interchangeable battery packs that could potentially be swapped over when flat at e-service stations.
Entered into this year’s international James Dyson Award, the HSV R2 highlights the creative growth in Australian design engineers – not to mention that if this concept was to win the award it would make three Aussie winners in as many years.
