hi there sorry for late reply house move and all yes done that presently im OC 3610mhz but i find when i reboot or restart i get F2 annoying im using es5649 been playing with voltages now so increasing couple of volts every time will let you know how i gret on. But im thinking that the es chips when paired are the issue not oc settingh as my retial xeon chip worked fine and system booted fine no f2 or del

have you put 2 different voltage on cpu boot
minimum et maximum from intel spécification

hi all have a couiple fo private message regarding evga sr2 and es5649 cpus, okay i found that i had lots of errors

1. POST locks up
2. CF - FF error
3. Cant reset system just locks up black screen
4. PC would work then freeze up
5. Would have turn pc off wait for a minute then press reset contiunally to get back into POST

had this for ages doing my head in these es5649 cpu then i remember i got a customs rom A54,A56 from a chap off the net Im now on A56 and everything seems okay i can overclock on stock/auto and get a stable speed 3.3ghz not pushed it yet as happy to have a 27 rig working.

oh had the MTU usb windows 7 driver issue that was a bugto so remove w7 auto install driver so my tri gtx580 rig is working fine now shame i put the w7 on the marvel raid doh but its been working to i have adaptec 6805 in pcie slot 3 not sure if its 100 working in that slot more testing buts i ave 8 terrabytes of data and counting so need to populate the raid caddy and test .

I did try all evga roms a43-a56 found a56 to be the best of the lot and the custom on i have even better, remember mem speed, qpi must be lowered to get these es5649s working. if there are others out there with es5649 in sr2 please send me you speeds and settings so we can compare, i did save a packet but oh the hassle days and days tweaking for stability hope this helps someoine else..
