Even if the RAM can go at 1866Mhz this will be overclocking to the memory controller. We can only recommend going at 1066Mhz with this CPU. We can't guarantee stability with clocking the RAM this fast due to the memory controller in the CPU not supporting it."

So I asked if it is so, that I did not understand why would Bios S21T function normally. Then this was their response.

"Answered By Matthew M (7/5/2010 4:14:31 PM): Hi Andrew,

Due to refinements and additional features in BIOS updates sometimes unsupported functions such as overclocking may not work the same or require the setting of an option that was previously hidden or was automatically adjusted before. Due to an older BIOS will support your overclock but newer ones will not this may be what is happening. Sometimes, due to the limited storage space for the BIOS some features can be dropped to allow room for other options to be added."

So I guess it is wat it is. I'll just stick with the older S21T for now since everything is fine.

Re:EVGA X58 Classified (E760/E761/E769) - BIOS 44 Released (HalloweenWeed)

playboyer did you load a previously saved BIOS profile after flashing your BIOS? NEVER do that. Remove your CMOS batt for 20 mins with power removed, then re-enter ALL your BIOS settings manually. Immediately after flashing your BIOS you should "save" all 8 BIOS profiles to overwrite whatever is there bc if you load one you will screw up your BIOS settings completely, and you cannot recover from this by merely manually resetting your BIOS settings.

The other thing is when you update BIOSes it is a well known issue that you have to re-do your OC, your previous settings will not always work.
Re:EVGA X58 Classified (E760/E761/E769) - BIOS 44 Released (playboyer)

I'm gonna try moving up to a newer bios than the S21T that works fine at 1866mhz. I'm using OCZ Platinum 1866mhz. I kept messing with the bios settings and still no luck. But if I set the clocks back to 1600 and below it runs perfect. Even rolled back to 59, 51 and 49 and It still would BSOD on me. So i reverted back to my original S21T and now it's perfectly fine. Yes I followed the proper instructions on flashig and clearing the cmos and loading default settings.

Re:EVGA X58 Classified (E760/E761/E769) - BIOS 44 Released (joseph_dtx)

ok i just bought the evga x58 classified E760 3x sli what is the best way to

no problem with it, until famous bios 44

3em the wonder to address my complaint in French!

I think not, a European support unable to communicate

French! woaw but we believe that France is a country neglected!

Then I tried the phone support, bah m * rde, no number for France! require us to type the

German or English media (you pass the thank you to our

secondary teachers for their classes! ) ...

then I ask you, how do I use my memories for me in their native frequencies?

I light a candle?

Today, I am forced to use the S61J bios if I use the performance of my memories

but do not forget to say goodbye to all the fixes made by the new revisions ...

if someone here is kind enough to answer me in French, I thank

However, this problem was most likely caused by an error in your computer’s random access memory (RAM). RAM is the main internal storage area the computer uses to run programs and store data.
During the crash analysis, we noticed the basic input/output system (BIOS) version on this computer does not match the specifications for the central processing unit (CPU), also known as a processor, that is installed on your computer. This can occur when a newer processor is installed on an older system board or older BIOS. Using a BIOS that does not support the installed processor can result in Windows system crashes. Contact your computer manufacturer or motherboard manufacturer for an updated version of BIOS for your computer's processor.
Re:EVGA X58 Classified (E760/E761/E769) - BIOS 44 Released (shazbom)

hi Guys. I waited till last night to flash BIOS 44. Not reading the forums first like I usually do thinking over one month from when its out would be ok. Wrong again

I know it was my mistake but a serious memory clock issue that they are having they should be pulling the 44 BIOS off the website. I tried all the new switches you all suggested to get the Mem Frequency back to normal but to no avail. Then I just decided to revert to S61J. The auto settings no longer work and I had to manually configure everything. I have everything running but if someone could guide me through some settings to make sure I am ok that would be awesome.

Mother Board ( E760 )
Bios ( S61J )
CPU ( 920 )
CPU Cooler ( Prolimatech Megahalems )
Memory ( OCZ Gold 12GB (6x2) PC-12800 8-8-8-24)
PSU ( Antec Trupower 850)
GPU ( GTX 295 CO-OP + GTS 250)
CPU Clock Ratio ( 20X )
CPU Host Frequency (Mhz) ( 172 )
CPU Uncore Frequency (Mhz) ( 21x )
Spread Spectrum ( Disabled )
PCIE Frequency (Mhz) ( 105 )
Memory Feature
Memory Control Setting ( Enabled )
Memory Frequency ( 2:10 )
Channel Interleave Setting ( 6 Way )
Rank Interleave Setting ( 4 Way )
Parameters
tCL Setting ( 8 )
tRCD Setting ( 8 )
tRP Setting ( 8 )
tRAS Setting ( 24 )
tRFC Setting ( 74 )
Command Rate ( 2T )
Voltage Control
EVGA VDroop Control ( With VDroop )
CPU VCore ( 1.25 )
CPU VTT Voltage ( +250 ) <------- Called EVGA they said HexaChannel Kit needs this
CPU PLL VCore ( Auto )
DIMM Voltage ( 1.61V ) <------- E-Leet read 1.69v
DIMM DQ Vref ( +0 )
QPI PLL VCore ( Auto )
IOH VCore ( Auto )
IOH/ICH I/O Voltage (Auto )
ICH VCore (Auto )
PWM Frequency (Auto )
CPU Feature
Intel SpeedStep ( Disabled )
Turbo Mode Function ( Enabled )
CxE Function ( Disabled )
Execute Disable Bit ( Disabled )
Virtualization Technology ( Disabled )
Logical Processor Setting
Intel HT Technology ( Enabled )
Active Processor Cores ( All )
QPI Settings
QPI Control Settings ( Enabled )
QPI Link Fast Mode ( Enabled )
QPI Frequency Selection ( 4.8 GT/s )
Re:EVGA X58 Classified (E760/E761/E769) - BIOS 44 Released (izusaga)

Are there any additional mirrors for the x58 BIOS?
