and i do just fine on BFBC2, BF3, LoL, and every other game i play. Not so sure about the mamba being stupid, but why is the intellimouse 3.0 God tier? is there something im missing? 0.o
EDIT: Apparently MS mice are popular for alot of Quake/CS "pros" and High DPI isnt worth much...

*shrug* Idk, I love my mouse but I do think i could use something a little faster than 400dpi.. Maybe not like Razer high dpi but higher than 400.

Why not go with an 1155 Sandybridge capable Z77?

Cause you can pick up a X58 motherboard for $50 and a 1366 CPU for about $120. (But, sandy bridge and P67/Z68) will be dropping in price on used ones pretty soon.)

correct i have wanted a classified board since they first came out but 400.00 was way to much for me, and 250 to 300 for the classified 3 is more reasonable but still a little high at the moment but eventually i'll get one (im always behind on tech because i have to wait for prices to come down LOL)

Im going with sandybridge for my next system. i guess being behind on tech isnt that bad, so long as you have extremepower.
My old x58 corei7 570 machine was still capable of playing anything at 1080P at maxed graphics on a single screen.
Me im focusing more on graphics this time thought, for 3 screeen Eyefinity.
Speaking of Mice I will be ordering my Razer Naga Epic as soon as i get paid <3

Razer mamba is AWESOME, (In my opinion) So like first reply said.... Just someones opinion and not factual.

Someone can make due owning your ass in an FPS using a regular dell mouse I'm sure.

It's really preference when it comes down to what is actually the best gaming mouse. If people love to use all the extra buttons, getting one with 6+ buttons can make your gaming experience better if you are good at utilizing the mouse.

My buddy just got a BAJA a few weeks ago for 150 bucks... Freakin' steal. It's not a HPI though, it's made by KING Motor and it has a 29cc motor. Had a few hang ups with it, but it seems pretty quick. I have not gotten to drive it around yet. Just have a 1/8 scale buggy with a brushless system, got it up to 52MPH so far, think that's as fast as I want to go.

To be honest, i'd skip the X58 build unless you've all ready invested some money on parts. I'd go straight to a P67 or Z67, those are going to be cheap pretty soon and those sandy bridge processors will give you a bigger jump in performance.

I have to disagree with the position of the CM storm sentinel.
I've beem trying lots of mices at lan parties and maybe about 50% of them are on that list, nothing could match the comfort of the Sentinel except the G400. The choice wasnt hard because the Sentinel has got more features and doesnt cost that much more than the G400.

My mouse is not even on there and it is amazing. Not one issue. Only cost 25 bucks. 2500 DPi, Dual lasers and some say it can even track on glass... To bad the stopped making them ;-;

The razers are well built but to me they never grip my hand correctly, like they are to flat.

mein thinks youve never had a Naga Epic.
Its a fatass mouse with multiple hand grips.
The Deathadder is huge as well. lanchies is flatish though.

I had the Deathadder in mind when i posted this and i tried the naga at bestbuy or somewhere like that and didnt care for it. the MX1100 is shaped around the hand and doesnt have that flat top like other mouses. its almost like putting a glove on, its a perfect fit but we all have different hands so what ever feels right.

I will never use anything other than a naga ever again.
that mouse is god.

Nothing wrong with that one... I just needed a few more buttons for a few of my games. Before the G9 I have now, I had an awesome blue intellipoint for years.
