I too have a vanilla replacment on the way. Man I bet Evga is not happy with Nvidia. Bad chip screening, and evga has to pay the price.

Re:GTV 670 Arifacting, Again.... (DrSesma)

I've tried everything. I've reinstalled the Nvidia drivers twice using driver sweeper (in safe mode). I turned my CPU overclock off. I turned off Precision X. I checked the voltages on my 12v rails on my PSU using "HWmonitor". I checked to make sure the DVI cable was plugged in properly. I've reseated the card and installed it in another pci-e slot and still nothing. the two 6pins are connected properly as well. At first i was beginning to think it was my motherboard; however, when i reinstalled my old card it worked flawlessly. Therefore i'm almost positive it's another faulty card

oh yeah, i have the latest BIOS
Re:GTV 670 Arifacting, Again.... (DrSesma)

So i had to RMA my first GTX 670 because when ever i started up a game i would freeze followed by colorful boxs that filled up my screen. My new GTX 670 seemed to worked perfectly for the first two days, However, after playing BFBC2 for an hour my GPU started to Artifact again. It's not artifacting like the old one did. Now it looks like a bunch black lines flying everywhere on the screen. the game still runs fine and my GPU tems never go above 74C with EVGA Precision X running. this happens in all games.

Gigabyte 990fxa UD3
AMD 1055T @ 3.8GHZ (i've tried to running games at my stock clocks; however, that didn't work either)
Corsair H60 CPU Cooler (temps never go above 45C underload)
Corsair TX650M
Crucial M4 64gb
WD Green 1.5tb
8gb of HP ram @ 1333mhz
