I am assuming you meant a GTS 450.
Re:2 different speed cards (loveha)

General_Jameson

First off the GTX 260 is a more powerful card minus DX11 so you actually downgraded. The cards will run independently their will be no SLI or anything like that at all, they should not affect each other.

This^
Re:2 different speed cards (General_Jameson)

First off the GTX 260 is a more powerful card minus DX11 so you actually downgraded. I run 4 monitors. 2 for main 3d use and 2 for non-essential email, and non-3d stuff. I had 260's in the system. I just upgraded the main 3d one to a GTX 450 TI. Will the performance of the main card suffer or be limited by the slower card. Would my overall 3d performance be better by replacing both cards. Eventhough I only run the 3d stuff on the monitors driven by the 450.

Thanks.

Wayne
