Two years I fight with their cables.
PSU is perfect, fan is perfect, cables are shame, better naked wire paint in black without their "sleeve"
I'm sick of their cables 10 years sleeve and nobody want to make normal cables only EVGA listen customers.

Re:EVGA Z77 FTW! (Vlada011)

Not much I have about 5% better score than with X4 on 4.0GHz.
But for everything stronger than 5870 I think bottleneck is more pronounced.
I avoid problems with AM3+... Uhhhh. Good. That would be downgrade, complete for almost SB price. When they first delay June-October I know what happens.

Than if you go on two years with new upgrade maybe better i5.
i7-3770k is 280e at my home, only 15e more than 2700k.
I stay with one CPU in mean time change two graphics.
Because of that I choose 3700k.

Re:EVGA Z77 FTW! (maranhao)

I intend to go with the 3570k, it costs 216.5€, the 3770k goes up to 315.9€, an extra 100€ for minimal gains in terms of daily usage and from what I saw more heat? I don't think so.

I usually go for a two year refresh to avoid spending a lot of money at once like this time. I bought my current motherboard one year ago hoping that something at least ok would come out from bulldozer, instead I "wasted" some money on a motherboard that not even it's cpu voltage regulator works as it should (it fluctuates more than the markets).

I'm a bit like you were, my X4 965 BE is almost three years old and it wasn't really killing the gameplay, but I know it is bottlenecking my HD5870. So with nothing good from AMD side for the first time I'm buying an Intel CPU because that is the best option really.

This is my current satisfation:
Your order has shipped. :D

No tracking number?
Re:EVGA Z77 FTW! (Vlada011)

 What you plan to buy???
i5-3570k or 3770k for new motherboard.
i5 is enough for this and next 2 years but if you plan to stay with Z77 more than two years maybe i7-3770k worth invesment.
I spend all money on PC too, and for me 500$ is like 1500$ for someone else in West Europe or USA because situation in country.
With around 550e in pocket and X4+CH4F I thought what to do.
Stay with everything and buy GTX680, HD7970???What???
X4 is not so powerfull than I decide FX failed, I am not fell in to the trap and I will go on Intel and than NVIDIA, what is best Intel/NVIDIA platform-EVGA. I spend money on i7-3770k +Z77 FTW, sell X4 and 965 BE and with that money I will buy Force GT and H100, than I am with newest Intel platform for long time, new SATA III SSD, best CPU Cooler from one part and I can buy soon some good graphic card. I can play with 5870 most of games but I want some new Classified EVGA soon.
Other options I will stay on X4 with SATA II SSD, old cpu cooler, old platform, only new graphic card very possibile deep in bottleneck.
Now I have CPU for this new graphic and next, with AMD over with one year, can't sell, can't play, stuck. Intel is better.
Yes I want everything tomorrow but situation with money is not excelent and hard for me is to find good things than easy, one by one.
I wait sometimes 40 days some thing when I decide to buy and separate money for that. I can't go on newegg and click four times and wait like other.

Intel worth investment for little longer, I haven't money to buy every two years and I use PC mainly for games.
I hope you will be satisfed.
Re:EVGA Z77 FTW! I was aiming to do it later this year and now I've just spent my money :S. As I was installing some PC performance apps … I noticed this drive was recognized as a SCSI drive. What’s with that??? >> Of course, the port is set to ACHI in BIOS. Looks like we need a controller update from Marvell.

Anyone else have this issue?
Re:EVGA Z77 FTW!
