The voltage, is it really 1.150? I'm asking this because usually when you put 1.150 it tends to sit at 1.138v.

For "permanent" OC i would back off a bit from that max freq to let's say a 850mhz and see a lower voltage to that frequency.
Re:EVGA Geforce GTX 480 HC FTW Overclock (PerfectHal)

First of all tnx for ur answer, i did some test and for me the top is actually from 752 Mhz(stock) to 877 Mhz GPU Clock with stock memory clock 1900 Mhz at 1.150 Vcore 65° while stressing with no artifact at all what do u think? :o
Re:EVGA Geforce GTX 480 HC FTW Overclock (AlexisRO)

First off welcome to the forums!

1 - Zero is a nice number to get a stable OC. Some people let a few of them slide but i wouldn't call anything above 0 stable OC.

2 - Can be, but it usually isn't. Usually you just need more voltage.

3 - Depends on your preference and on what temps your getting now at "stock".

4 - Memory OC-ing gets the smallest rewards in terms of FPS, but it's fun lol.

EVGA Geforce GTX 480 HC FTW Overclock (PerfectHal)

Hi guys, this is my first post here but i think its the best place to do it :)...i'm trying to OC my gpu and i'm using Evga precision X and OC Scanner X to test it, i got some question about the overclock cause i'm not that expert:

1- What exactly should i aim for about numbers of Artifact during the stress test? I mean how many Artis are the max number to get while occing? (to get a decent oc)

2- Is the production of artifact affected by Temperature?

3- What the temp should be to stay in the limit?

4- I was forgiving, is it better to cap the memory or leave it to base clock and focus on GPU clock? for better game performance ofc.
Tnx in advance :)
