For me, i decided to go with the GTX 580 3GB as games will demand more and more VRAM and in the future when the prices drop i will just simply put a second one and later maybe a third one so it is really a good choice. It's up to you but thats what i have chosen. After all, It's your money and your computer. Hope i helped.
Which card to get :S (mikaelfred)

I have a question regarding which graphics card to purchase!
I have an evga x58 ftw3 mobo with an i7-960 cpu.
I will be gaming on a single monitor which is an lg 47'' 3dtv
I want to be able to play bf3 and Crysis and Crysis 2 at ultra settings with max aa @1080p
I have the money to buy the 3gb version but will that be enough? Or is it overkill? I don't plan on using multiple screen however having the option to do it is always welcome!
Would you recommend that I buy the 3gb version or the 1.5gb?
Or possibly any other card?
I've seen a lot of people suggest the 3gb version and vice versa so I'm a bit confused :S
This is my first pc build so I'm a bit of a noob... got tired of playing on consoles and finally decided to switch to pc gaming

Thanks in advace! :)
