The Cooler Master Storm Sirus is great. Here is a review on it.

Gets loud as hell in USB mode, and you can opt to use the normal 3.5mm audio jacks instead to utilize your sound card. Great quality sound as well - 5.1 with 7.1 emulation.

look for a good set of audio cans rather then gaming ones. much better sound for your cash and if you need a mick, get a cheap clip on one

I am wondering what would be your choice of headphones. I currently have the G35, but they dont get loud enough for me and they are not really that comfortable. Plus they dont utilize my sound card. LOL
