Then we can help you better.

This Bios Template is for both the X-58 3X SLi and the X-58 Classified motherboards.
This is to be used in troubleshooting and is not a guide to overclocking. Items that are for the X-58 3x only have a single * before tie line. Items that are for the X-58 Classified only have two ** before the line. When using this template please fill out all the RED areas.

Mother Board ( EVGA X58 Classified E-759 Set you multi to the lowest one, your dram freq to the lowest one and try to find your highest stable bclck and raise your vtt accordingly.

Re:Need a Starting point for Overclocking my 990x on a evga x58 ftw3 want 4.5GHz (JaskarnSidhu)

I have a 990x aswell but on a different board. From the research I've done on the 990x and from my own tests I've found that they best preform with multiplies of 31, 32, 33, 34, and 35. With water cooling I can OC to 4.6 Ghz @ 1.39v.

Re:Need a Starting point for Overclocking my 990x on a evga x58 ftw3 want 4.5GHz (Xtrem)

Check your temps ALWAYS, but raise vcore a bump and try running it again, if it goes longer before BSODing, then raise it one more.
Re:Need a Starting point for Overclocking my 990x on a evga x58 ftw3 want 4.5GHz (area51c)

With that setting above i BSOD if i try to run prime what now?
