Yeah, my bad. They're silent fans nearly. Very good design.

But I have seen a guy remove them, and still ran cool! Pretty neat design.

That GTX 295 is a bit too red but that reminds me of another one of my favorites - the original dual PCB EVGA GTX 295. Added to my post.

That's the one I have that I use as a spare, just in case my other cards go bad. Love that card. If it was only DX11, it would have been my last card needed for many years. The dual GPU on it is a plus too.

Dual GPU isn't a plus when you can get the same or more power with one card (*looks at my GTX 480 and your GTX 580). It was certainly a looker though. My GTX 480 in its current state is a black PCB with two hunks of metal on it, as shown in my mods rigs.

Just one is all I need until Kepler... I will simply keep this card for a backup video card (lifetime warranty ) after Kepler is released!

Love the Phantom and red 295... Classic 8800 Ultra too. Not seen here yet but loved the heatpipes on the 480s, and the original 260/280 with backplates and partner stickers torn off (bare Nvidia print) looked great.

8800GT... Pound for pound and look for look, was a nice card to start my obsession with more "serious" graphics cards!

Same as any air cooled TRI SLI rig, there's space between the cards enough for them to breathe.

I'd have to agree to date I have not seen a better looking air cooled card since the 9800GX2. That thing felt great in your hands, sleek, and was just overall pleasing to look at. InB4 the giggles :]
