(6 x 6+2 pin pci over the antec's 2 x 6 and 2 x 6+2 so I won't have to deal with molex adapters. and two conections for the cpu, I won't be overclocking anywhere near the need for it, but i can't see how using both could not help in power delivery )

right in between the two I was currently looking at price wise so I does look like a good way to go.

Yes from the reviews I've read I think the HX1000 is the way to go.

I'm about to place an order with egg which will include the HX1000 for a new build, check out the combos with this supply you might save some more $.
Re:Will 1000 watts be enough? Both of our HX1000's have 1 4+8 pin esp, and 2 6+8 pin pci dedicated, and 4 6+8 pin pci cables that u plug into blue connectors, and 1 4+8 pin esp that u plug into the blue connectors... Guess What there is only four blue connectors and useing the x58 classy and 3 200 series card you need to use all 5 cables with blue ends, and the PSU only has a spot for four blue connectors.... So unless you want to use molex to pci adapters to power one of ur cards ur screwed....

I know this cause we went rounds with Corsair on the subject

so could u please check and see unless u got a newer version than we did...

Thanks

Re:Will 1000 watts be enough? CD/DVD about 25 watts each, Since each system is difrent Nvidia lists the first card and system as a Minimum rating, as they have no idea what you actualy have, for the second and/or third card they list it as Max, because they know what the max the card should pull under full load, but if you OC, you should add a little, and it does not hurt to have more than you need.

Re:Will 1000 watts be enough?
